New Beginning (RAD001)

So I started my new clinical trial drug today at Emory called RAD001. We have high hopes for this drug since its an antibody w chemo instead of just plain ol' chemo that I dont respond to anymore. My dr has been wanting me to do a trial like this for some time now. So im very excited. My spleen is enlarged and hurts a lot pain pills arent even helping. He said I may notice it shrinking in a few weeks to a month if the drug works but Im gonna pray that it does. hehe And just say when the drug works I will notice my spleen is smaller cause it wont hurt anymore. So on the other things besides my health...I have a new dog, her name is Annie and I just love her! She is so sweet. I have to start trimming her hair so I can get her shaved its getting way to hot to have a long haired dog outside. Bryan and I are great. He is so supportive and devoted to me and my getting well. He treats taking care of me like a job, in a good way. Not an obligation but a job that hes proud of and loves to do. Shows dedication and is so caring and is actually compassionate sometimes lol Yes he is!! My best friend and sister is moving back to GA very soon and I cant be more happy. She means so much to me.
